Ensuring high performance, health and well-being at Blesbok

We’ve settled into our new office and kicked things off on a high note with an ergonomics session led by osteopath and athlete, Petros Vournelis.

The session was an eye-opener on the impact of our work environment and habits on our health and productivity.

Petros shared insights on how poor posture and an ergonomically unsound workspace can lead to a host of issues, including back and neck pain, eye strain, and even RSI.

He introduced simple, yet effective, stretching and breathing exercises tailored for the desk-bound warrior in all of us, ensuring we’re not just working hard but also working smart to achieve optimum performance.

Key takeaways included the importance of proper hydration, quality sleep, and nutrition (yes, we might have hidden those chocolate brownies!). Plus, practical tips on setting up our workstations correctly made a noticeable difference immediately.
